Breakfast was simple ,fresh and easy to navigate

The Sutton Halifax staff know how to keep us coming back time after time! It is a lovely hotel with every convenience. The large clean rooms are modern and tastefully decorated and there is a very nice restaurant and bar, a gym, and concierge . It is conveniently located within short walking distance to downtown, the Public Gardens Scotia Bank Centre, the Convention Centre, and several restaurants and shops. We had a couple of issues with our King room which I mentioned to the staff at the front reception only because we were staying for 5 nights. While they were fully booked for part of our stay they upgraded us on the last 2 nights at no extra charge. They were apologetic for our inconvenience and professional. We look forward to our next visit!

Bar lacked options, however we had a lovely stay

As soon as I walk in, I realize I can eat off this floor right now. That's how clean this place is. And I was like, d*** this place. This place smells so good. Holy man, look how bougie this place is man. All the lights have dimmer switches. The view is amazing Love the hot tub, but the black flies were brutal. They'll get you.\n But had a wonderful stay and will be back. The black won't bother you after Like 9 or 10 o'clock. And iwas like damn look at the shower head that's crazy.

On first look, the room was great. Large and open with a sitting room and a kitchen. The bed is on a riser on the floor with only about a foot of space on either side for getting in/out which wasn't ideal. After spending a couple days, we did encounter a number of issues: - There was food leftover from a previous in the mini fridge that smelled so bad we had to toss it in the bins outside. - Whenever we wanted to change the temperature, the heating / cooling unit needed to be turned off completely, then turned back on and adjusted. - The hand held shower head was broken and leaked which greatly reduces how much water came out of the sprayer. And the water pressure was already very low, that meant there wasn't really effective water pressure to shower. - The bathroom sink was clogged and water drained very very slowly - The handle on the kitchen sink fell off when we used it. Overall, it felt like a nice apartment that has been neglected for awhile and is need of some TLC.
